Another Crazy Daizy!

Here is another Crazy Daizy, this is from one of my students, Brenda. She made it for herself, I don't think that happens all that often. Most of us quilters make quilts for everyone but us. Anyway, I love this one, made from jelly rolls that were out last spring.

Crazy Daizy Quilts

Crazy Daizy Pictures.

One of my students, Cherry made a pillow sham to match her quilt, it looks great. Ann made her version of the quilt with a bali pop, Green Tea.

Crazy Daizy Quilts pictures

I have had alot of my friends, and students make Crazy Daizy and thought I should show some of them. I will show more as I get more pictures. The first sample I made was from a jelly roll by April Cornell. It is beautiful, but didn't look good on the pattern cover, so I made one with a jellly roll I loved, Birdie from Moda. This did not look good on the pattern cover either, so I made the sample with Hoffman's bali pop Kiwiberry. I love it, and it looked great!

Quilt for fund- raiser for Joshua's Group for Children.

Quilt for fund raiser, The Joshua Group for needy children.

Here is a quilt that I have given to The Joshua Group for needy children. It is a fabulous group, they supply lots of support for very poor inner-city children. There is a breakfast program, and an after-school program.
The Joshua Group is holding a Gala evening fund-raiser where the quilt will be either auctioned off, or they will sell tickets on it. Good luck to them, hope their evening makes them lots of money for the children.

Meet Molly a 9 year old quilter who is learning to quilt along with her Mom. She is almost finished her quilt. She picked her own fabrics, cut it, stitched it, squared the blocks, did her
own pressing, it really is her own work. She layed it out the way she liked it, then stitched the rows together, when the top was finished she sewed on the borders. She layed it out on the floor and sprayed with 505 for basting and is currently quilting wavy lines down the quilt. Watch for more pictures.
